Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July! I spent the day at Fairy Lake near Bozeman, MT. Fairy Lake is a glacial green/blue lake at the base of Sacagawea Peak. The road to get to the lake can be rough but it is well worth it when you get to the top. It’s about 22 miles north of Bozeman on Bridger Canyon Road. Then about 6 miles of dirt road to the lake. There is a trail that loops around the lake and some picnic spots near the parking lot. We also saw plenty of brave souls hiking up and skiing/snowboarding down. You can also camp nearby. Great summer destination spot!
